Fitness Programs

At Ocean Waves, fitness groups are focused on small group training and our groups involve way more than exercise.  Our unique programs are designed to both improve both physical AND emotional strength and resilience!  The positive support, camaraderie, and energy is contagious.  

Our beautiful studio is full of bright windows, without any mirrors, encouraging you to focus within!  We want you to put your energy into relaxing and strengthening your body -- not examining any perceived flaws.  

As groups are for 8 women, of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels, our trainers can take the time to meet your individual fitness needs and ensure proper form, alignment, and technique.  If shame, anxiety, worries, negative body image, or chronic illness have ever prevented you from benefiting from a gym or yoga studio, Ocean Waves will ensure that you will feel safe and secure and have your needs met with sensitivity and care.

TRX STRENGTH TRAINING

Born in the Navy SEALs, TRX Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.   TRX is a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete hundreds of exercises.  

SURFSET FITNESS

Get on Board with SURFSET Fitness at Ocean Waves!  Surfset Fitness is about challenging your body in new ways and having a blast at the same time!  Every exercise on the board is designed to "engage your core and stablizer muscles and shock the system to create real change inside & out."  Surfset sessions are designed for optimal burn, muscle build, and improved balance.

Enjoy the relaxing and strengthening benefits of yoga in our intimate setting.  Learn the keys to breathing and proper form, with adjustments and personalized attention to meet your needs at any level.
