I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in adult and adolescent psychotherapy. For the past 15 years, I have been treating adults and adolescents who suffer with depression, anxiety, panic, life stressors, chronic health issues, grief, job stress, and relationship and communication problems. Sometimes people feel overwhelmed by life and need someone to listen. I listen to their problems and teach them skills to make positive changes in their lives. We work together to make these changes so they feel better.
I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Rutgers University. In the past, I have worked at University Behavioral Healthcare (UMDNJ), Carrier Clinic, CPC Behavioral Healthcare, and LifeSpan Behavioral Health in inpatient, partial-care and outpatient settings. I provided individual, couples and family counseling, and ran groups such as, “Anxiety Reduction Skills,” “Communication Skills,” and “Coping with Depression."
I currently provide individual counseling for adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues and life stressors. I teach clients Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help them change and improve their lives.
